| Tools needed | Glass cleaner Microfiber cloths |
The easiest pinball maintenance, and the one players notice most.
Steps
- Spray glass cleaner onto a microfiber cloth, not directly onto the glass. Spraying the glass can drip cleaner under the lockdown bar and onto the playfield.
- Wipe the outside of the glass in straight strokes.
- Buff dry with a second clean cloth.
The inside of the glass
The underside of the glass collects dust and haze over time. Clean it whenever you remove the glass to clean the playfield. See Removing the glass and cleaning the playfield.
Tips
- Avoid paper towels; they leave lint and can scratch.
- Don't lean or set drinks on the glass.
